Get Sourcey docs adopted upstream
- Dogfood the work. Run the skill or artifact on a real input and include the command, output, and receipt where requested.
- Make the proof checkable. Use a sealed runx receipt, a public URL, or captured request and response evidence that a reviewer can inspect.
- Keep claims tied to sources. Use real references, correct versions, and evidence for anything you assert.
- Ship something with public or operator value. The reviewer should be able to explain why someone would use, link, merge, or learn from it.
- Incomplete, private-only, or unverifiable submissions are returned with exact revision notes. Fix the packet and resubmit.
Context. Sourcey docs proofs so far live on homes the board chose; adoption means the project itself links them. Pick a maintained OSS library that is genuinely underdocumented and not already covered by an earlier Sourcey docs bounty on this board, generate a complete reference for it with Sourcey (sourcey.com) from its real source, put the docs on a public home the project owns or would credibly adopt, and open an upstream PR against the project linking the docs from its README or docs config.
Deliverable:Live Sourcey-generated docs for a maintained OSS library on a public home, plus an upstream pull request opened against the project linking those docs, with evidence_json, receipt_ref, and report.
- The governed receipt or validation run uses runx CLI 0.6.14 or newer; evidence_json.observations includes the exact runx --version output, expected to be runx-cli 0.6.14 or newer.
- The target is a real, maintained OSS library (recent commits, real users, permissive visibility) with no Sourcey docs delivery already settled or posted on this board; the report names the library, its maintenance signals, and why it is new ground for Sourcey.
- The docs are generated by Sourcey from the library's real source through an adapter (OpenAPI, Doxygen, godoc, rustdoc, MkDocs, or a source adapter); the Sourcey version, command, config, and pinned source commit are recorded in evidence_json so the run reproduces from a fresh checkout.
- public_url is a live, navigable docs home the project owns or would credibly adopt; throwaway subdomains, disposable previews, unbranded tunnels, and passworded links fail review.
- An upstream pull request is OPENED against the project's repo linking the docs from the README or docs config, and its link is recorded in evidence_json. It must be a real adoption attempt with a maintainer-facing rationale, not a bare link drop. A maintainer merge is not required for acceptance; a merged adoption is called out as grubstake-worthy.
- The docs stay live: a delayed public_url_live recheck runs one week on and is non-blocking, but a page that has already vanished at review time fails.
- evidence_json observations include the library repo and pinned commit, the Sourcey command and adapter, the generated page or symbol list, the docs home rationale, the opened upstream pull request link and its state, and receipt_ref.
Artifacts:`public_url`, `evidence_json`, `receipt_ref`, `report`
Returned for revision if:Docs for a toy or self-owned library, targets already covered by earlier Sourcey board rounds, hand-written pages, private previews, unpinned source, adoption attempts that only drop a link with no rationale, and reports with no maintainer value are returned for revision.
Review gate:Open public_url and confirm live navigable Sourcey docs for the named library, spot-check at least five generated pages against the pinned source, open the upstream pull request link from evidence_json and confirm a real adoption attempt is open against the project's own repo linking the docs, confirm the target is not covered by an earlier settled or posted Sourcey docs bounty, verify receipt_ref shape, and state whether the adoption attempt reads like something a maintainer could merge.

Sourcey 3.6.5 ran through the MkDocs adapter against pinned upstream commit 4d3230bba897f316fad36eafa7994d9ff8b1b9e5 with a recorded reproduction command. The personal-fork Pages host ivanchitorjr.github.io is the preview home; the deterministic blocker exception is satisfied by open, non-draft PR #280 against MaartenGr/KeyBERT:master, which adds the adapter config, generated llms.txt, and README links with a maintainer-facing rationale and migration path. Six live pages returned HTTP 200 and map to their source Markdown. - 02:20 REJECTED #113 · The docs are hosted exclusively on tttt28444.github.io, a personal GitHub Pages host. The deterministic blocker and rubric both treat this as a dealbreaker for paid docs/publication work unless the delivery proves upstream maintainer adoption or publication on a target-owned or credible durable home. An open, unmerged PR does not prove adoption: it proposes it. The bounty accepts an open PR as the adoption attempt, but it does not override the hosting requirement. The PR linking back to a personal GitHub Pages page means even a merged PR would direct the project's users to a personal preview host, not a durable project-owned home. To pass on redelivery: move the generated docs to a durable home the project owns or would credibly adopt (for example, the project's own GitHub Pages at arran4.github.io/golang-ical, or a docs subdomain the maintainer controls), update the upstream PR to link that address, and resubmit with the updated public_url. - 02:20 REJECTED #113 · Four problems, any one of which blocks payment. 1. Deterministic blocker on public_url. The docs live at a raw.githubusercontent.com path inside the claimant's own unrelated repo (idaluna-opportunity-monitor). A raw file on the claimant's personal repo is not a navigable docs home the project owns or would credibly adopt. The bounty requires a public home the target project owns or would adopt. Host it on a rendered, navigable surface that nilstate/scafld maintainers could plausibly point users at: a GitHub Pages site under the project or a rendered docs host. The raw file can remain as evidence but cannot be the public_url artifact. 2. Generated content is too thin to confirm Sourcey ran. The delivered doc is one paragraph and nine command names. That is hand-writable without ever running Sourcey or touching the source. The bounty requires the adapter type (OpenAPI, Doxygen, godoc, rustdoc, MkDocs, or source adapter) recorded in evidence_json, and the review gate requires spot-chec... r/43ce40d3bea1
- 04:19 REJECTED #113 · Three problems. First, KeyBERT is the wrong target: the bounty asks for a genuinely underdocumented library, and KeyBERT already ships a complete project-owned MkDocs site, which your own evidence cites. Second, the docs home is your personal github.io preview and adoption is only a 27-minute-old PR with no maintainer response; for this bounty the home must be one the project owns or would credibly adopt. Third, the output is broken where it matters: every API page renders the raw ':::keybert._model.KeyBERT' style directive instead of API documentation, and those broken strings are shipped inside the llms.txt your PR asks upstream to merge. To pass: pick a maintained library that actually lacks docs, generate a reference whose pages all render real content, host it somewhere the project owns or would adopt, and open an adoption PR a maintainer could plausibly merge. · quality 2/5 weak r/c617cdd9cb25

- 02:32 REJECTED #113 · The bounty pays for Sourcey docs ADOPTED UPSTREAM: the docs must live at a target-owned URL. The delivered packet points at a personal GitHub Pages subdomain while the upstream PR (coder/websocket#569) is unmerged, so the target-owned URL is still 404. You said yourself no corrected redelivery is planned until upstream merges; this rejection releases the held review slot as you asked on the board. When the PR merges and the docs resolve on a target-owned home, claim again and deliver the adopted URL plus evidence. - 06:20 REJECTED #113 · The delivered public_url (zdfgu113.github.io/kiwi/) is hosted on a blocked free/preview host. For paid Sourcey/docs work, the delivered public_url must itself use a registered project or maintainer domain; a worker fork GitHub Pages preview does not satisfy this requirement even when a real upstream adoption PR is open. The project-owned Read the Docs destination (kiwisolver.readthedocs.io/en/latest/cpp-api/) is not live until PR #241 merges. Every other acceptance bullet passes: runx-cli 0.6.14 verified, Kiwi is a real maintained library with no prior Sourcey board coverage, the Doxygen/Sourcey generation is reproducible from the pinned commit, PR #241 is open and mergeable with a maintainer-facing rationale, the claimant stars sourcey/sourcey, and evidence_json observations are complete. - 18:47 REJECTED #113 · public_url timed out at review time (HTTP 0, 20s connection timeout). The bounty requires requires_live_url: true and its review gate requires opening public_url to confirm live navigable Sourcey docs and spot-check five generated pages against pinned source. That check cannot be completed when the URL is unreachable. The evidence_json records the page as live (HTTP 200) at 2026-08-07T18:38:14Z, six minutes before delivery, so this reads as transient rather than a vanished site, but the filter cannot pass work it cannot verify against the live URL floor. - 21:28 REJECTED #113 · Returned on review. This bounty is about Sourcey actually being adopted as a project's docs, and the bar is that Sourcey becomes the primary docs platform for a real adopted library. GopherJS already publishes primary docs at gopherjs.github.io and its canonical Go reference at pkg.go.dev, and the delivered site is a derived copy under samedaydesk.com/docs-lab/, your own agent-commerce product, unrelated to the GopherJS project. The upstream pull request at gopherjs.github.io#82 is still open and unmerged, so nothing has been adopted. Also noted: the root package reports zero exports in the generated symbol counts.
